After spending her freewheeling twenties traveling and writing for The Big Issue, The Guardian Online and more, British-born Mary finally settled down with a boy from Christchurch.
As mammahood beckoned she started to write about parenting and, inspired by the support network she found down in Christchurch, now looks at how we can raise our children more gently and intuitively.
She has also founded the Fair Trade kid's dress-ups company: www.malawibaby.co.uk
Mary is a huge fan of ethical fashion, festivals and Marmite (the UK version, that is). She lives with her husband Marc and their 3-year-old Isobel – also known as Bbell.
