Organic Island Baby started in 2005 on Waiheke Island to bring alternative organic cotton clothes and nappies when choices were limited. Now our web site has our own clothing range imp`ish and other New Zealand made and designed toys, books and clothes.

imp`ish inclined to do naughty things for fun; mischievous non gender specific organic cotton jersey all day and all night clothes for 0-5y. With our new Carnival red stripe and our favourites Childs play print and little Greenies stripe. Cut and styles are for all day and all night under and over layers, boat neck tops and bodies, long john leggings, 2 in 1 gowns plus new goodies and for the life of more than one child too.

Basics with twist and full color but all good GOTS Certified organic cotton and fairly made in India and designed on Waiheke Island New Zealand. Owner and designer Joanne Broederlow is inspired by her 6 kids, the Island she lives on and the nature surroundings...plus a love of vintage story books.

Motivated by the example she lives for her children to make a positive change. That giving back is important and production in India has enabled it to begin (hard as it my be producing off shore). Social mission in India is in planning for Organic Island Baby Ltd.
