The BAOBAB fruit collected for the oil we use is done by unemployed women in the Limpopo province in Africa. This provides much needed income for them and helps to pay for things like food, clothes and school fees.

The collection of the fruit does not harm the 'mother’ trees in anyway. Fruit is collected once they drop off the tree onto the ground. The suppliers of this oil have also started a nursery to grow more Baobab trees for a sustainable future.
